I loved the point which said David remembered his early encounters with the Lord where he was made to conquer. some versions say , some trust in chariots and in horses but we remember the name of our Lord God, implying that it does not take much for us to be victors, we only need to remember the Lord in everything we do before honoring our pride and strength of which all those belong to the Lord again.

I totally agree, unsunny days no matter, making memories is something that is always retrievable. Family time together with those that for different reasons we are usually apart is so special when blessed with reunion. For many years, my own family inlaws, outlaws, immediate, would all gather once a year for our own retreat of "togetherness" and take over a campground. What great times these were, and as I reflect back now what great memories! At least 10 straight years. Rain or shine, we enjoyed each other. Now as the years have gone by, we still manage to get together one way or another. NEVER FORGOTTEN! not for whole weeks or weekends but still special in my eyes.

Jane- for you and your colleagues, stay strong. Although you may not see things turn out like you hope, God works things in us even through this. You are all intimately connected to the camp, but remember it's God's work- it's His Isaac. Be willing to release and trust the Lord- and allow Him to bring peace.
Blessings-

Thank you for your lesson as we are in a storm over the The United Church in British Columbia, Canada's, decision to sell our beloved camp property that they hold in trust for the local churches. Your words I accidentally stumbled across and they fit so well with our situation that I have passed them on to others. Please say a pray for us in our struggle.
